Several researchers at Bishop's University, from multiple disciplines, are involved in studying the many aspects of climate and environmental change.
My work examines human dimensions of climate change, including impacts of climate change on humans, how these impact affect people's livelihoods and the natural resources they depend on, particularly water and farmland, as well as coastal areas. Food, water, climate change and people are inextricably linked. I am particularly interested in trying to understand and find solutions to help reduce human vulnerabilities (to food and water insecurity), to anticipate and prepare for changes (by enhancing adaptive capacity and planning) and to build resilience to current and future climate and environmental change impacts.
